In my opinion, writing is one of the most, if the not the most important discipline that one could learn in school. Today I realized that the structured 5 paragraph essay preached through my schooling and in the SATs is not a good format. Just to know that I have been writing crap my whole life is disheartening but a good sign for the future. College writing is academic and intelligent writing, no more crap writing.

I agree! Just be careful you don't turn French. You know, not necessarily having anything meaningful to write about just as long as it is written well. lol
