One of the prime reasons why I have trouble sleeping sometimes is because of the room brightness, I need darkness for a better sleep. Back in Jersey City, my house is next to a laundromat and lights would always be on in the parking lot. Usually, my room (changes) would be exposed to the irritating orange light and I would have difficulty sleeping. Now in JHU, the problem has resurfaced. Yesterday it took me forever to sleep, since I sleep right next to some bright orange lights, which illuminate the entrance of Wolman Hall. I need to setup a contraption that would keep the room dark.

you'd think classical behaviour would make your body adapt to light conditions by now.
can't you just use sleeping masks? pills work too.
